Get Started
The Neat contains alot of different features, but to be able to have
access to these features you need to be signed it. This is why the first
page your will see when opening up the app for the first time is the
"Sign in" page, where you can sign in by using your "username" and "password".
But if you are new to the app, and you have not signed up earlier, you
can click the "Sign up" which is placed on the bottom of the screen.
It will take you only a few minutes to sign up and get started!
Authentication
After you have finished signing up, you will be taken to another site,
where you will be asked to authenticate yourself. You can read more about why
this is needed [here].
But it is not always easy to authenticate yourself at any time, which is why
you can skip this part for now and continue to the app. Without authentication
you can not use the app to the fullest, but you can see the functions of the app.
But to be able to upload or to choose any of the dishes that have been uploaded,
have too authenticate yourself.
Main Page
After signing in you will be taken to the main page. Here you will
see a list of different items that the users around you have posted.
Here you can see the food listed up, but there is also an option to
see the food placed on a app. The app makes it easier to see which
directions the dishes are. On this map you can also see where the
foodtrucks are located.
Upload & Interested
On the main page there is a black button at the bootom, with a plus sign
on it, which takes you directly to a page where you can upload a dish or
any kind of grocery item. When uploading you can to state the name of the
item, as well as the location the person can pick it up from. There is also
a input-box for "description", where you have to give a description of your
item. In addition to that, you must choose if you wish to have the “Taker”
dine in or not. There is also an option where you can upload a picture of
your dish, but this is not mandatory. You will find that the layout of the
site that shows when you choose a dish is very similar to the upload site.
Here you will se the same information as the upload site, but placed in a
more informative way. If you are interessed in this item, you can click the
“Contact Giver” button, where you can have a chat with the giver. Here you can
further talk with the giver about time and place.
